@ONE logoWe're starting to feel the chill here in Menifee, which can only mean that December has come and finals are almost over! As you look ahead to the holiday season and much needed vacation, we at @ONE want to remind you of the array of professional development opportunities available to California Community Colleges (CCC) faculty and staff for the upcoming winter and spring sessions.

Our winter/spring course schedule is live on the @ONE website, There are a few courses with availability left, so be sure to register soon!

We also have an exciting Canvas Train-the-Trainer event approaching in January. If you're interested in facilitating the "Introduction to Teaching with Canvas" course at your local institution, then the Train-the-Trainer event would be a great opportunity to receive this training. Details are listed below as well as a link to register.

@ONE Train the Trainer EventFacilitating Canvas Training

@ONE is conducting training for staff and faculty who would be tasked with teaching Canvas to fellow faculty and who would be interested in offering @ONE's "Introduction to Teaching with Canvas" course to their local faculty.

This is an in-person training with Mayra Gomez and Angela Drumm.

Date: Friday, Jan. 6, 2017
Time: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.)
Location: Mt. San Jacinto College (Menifee Valley Campus Room 410)
Cost: Free!
Breakfast and Lunch provided

The @ONE course is designed as a 4-week-long online course and is available with a Creative Commons license. We have limited spaces available, so please register EARLY if you are interested or if you have any questions. This is a no-cost opportunity provided by the CCC Online Education Initiative (OEI). Please note that we are not able to reimburse any travel expenses.
