The Professional Learning Network will be on site at OTC’16 with a booth and sessions to demonstrate the site. Learn how this online portal can help you with all aspects of professional development. Additionally, Eric Skinner, Acting Chancellor of the California Community Colleges, has been confirmed as the keynote speaker for day two of the conference.

There’s a lot in store at OTC’16, coming June 16-17 to the San Diego Convention Center and Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina. The annual conference focuses on Community College faculty, staff and administrators engaged or interested in online education, including delivery of online services such as student, faculty, library and technical support.

Pre-Conference Workshops

Start your OTC experience early with one of our pre-conference workshops. Pre-conference workshops will be held Wednesday, June 15, at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina Hotel. Space is limited, so register today.

Google for Education (1:00pm – 4:00pm)
Learn some of the best uses of Google Drive Add-Ons and explore helpful Chrome apps and extensions. Among the tools featured are VideoNotes, Screencastify, SnagIt and others. Examine how educators make the most of tools that extend Google capabilities and plan effectively for integration strategies.

Microsoft for Educators (9:00am - 12:00pm)
This session will introduce attendees to the latest offerings from Microsoft in Education and discuss how these tools are being used to transform teaching and learning. We'll also explore how to find lesson plans to inspire your classroom, created by educators and experts from across the globe.

Distance Education Coordinators Retreat

The DE Coordinators Retreat is an invitation-only event. The all-day retreat will be held at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina Hotel on Wednesday, June 15, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
