OEI Town Hall and Campus Technology Forum 2015UPDATE, 7 April 2015: Access the OEI Town Hall event via live streaming. April 8, 10:20 a.m.-11:50 a.m.

 

There’s still time to reserve your spot at the OEI Town Hall, held in conjunction with the Campus Technology Forum 2015, April 8-9 in Long Beach, Calif., and simulcast from Sacramento City College on April 8.

A limited number of complementary registrations covering both events are available for members of the California Community Colleges Online Education Initiative, with the priority code “OEI”.

The day-and-a-half-long Campus Technology Forum will open with a keynote by William Rankin, Director of Learning at Apple Corp., from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. The complete conference schedule can be found here.

OEI Town Hall Details

The OEI Town Hall will be held April 8 in two parts. In part one, running from 10:20 a.m. to 11 a.m., representatives from the OEI, Education Planning Initiative and Common Assessment Initiative will provide an overview and status report on each of these statewide programs. Part two, which runs from 11:10 a.m. to 11:50 a.m., will be a panel discussion with the OEI leadership team. Click here for more OEI Town Hall information.

Can't Make It to Long Beach? Attend the Simulcast at Sacramento City College

If you are unable to make it to Long Beach, the OEI Town Hall will be simulcast from the Sacramento City College Performing Arts Center. Join us at Sacramento City College from 10 a.m. to noon to participate in the live event.

To register for the Sacramento location, visit the OEI Town Hall Information / Registration page and choose "OEI Virtual Participation from Sacramento" during the registration process.

The OEI Town Hall will also be streamed live to the web. Information about how to access the streaming presentation will be sent out on April 6.
