Association of Colleges for Tutoring and Learning AssistanceCalifornia Community Colleges Chancellor Brice W. Harris has been announced as a keynote speaker for the Eureka Summit, part of the 41st Annual ACTLA Conference, being held March 29 through April 1 in San Francisco.

The Eureka Summit, occuring on the last day of the conference, is an event that highlights CCC initiatives, including the Online Education Initiative and Student Equity Planning. Space is limited for the summit, so conference attendees must sign up during registration.

The four-day ACTLA conference will feature presentations exploring data-collection methods using Starfish Retention Solutions, approaches to student success, tutor training, technology tools and more. There will be full-day pre-conference workshops, general sessions and breakouts, as well as a campus visit to the Learning Assistance Center at City College of San Francisco on March 30. Space is also limited for this special event.

ACTLA (Association of Colleges for Tutoring and Learning Assistance) works to improve tutorial programs and services in California’s community colleges.
