CCC Education Planning InitiativeThe California Community Colleges (CCC) Education Planning Initiative (EPI) is looking for your contributions or ideas. Our IdeaScale campaign launched Oct. 24 for faculty and staff and we are steadily receiving input.

We encourage more of you to contribute and share ideas with us, as we will use these ideas to write RFP specifications, and include in requirements for the Education Planning Tool/Degree Audit System and Systemwide Student Services Portal. The IdeaScale campaign will be available until Nov. 22.

Please let us know what ideas you have and help us in creating a new product, not only for students but for faculty and staff, too. Go to cccedplan.org today and click on “Contribute Your Ideas.”

Hear Ye, Hear Ye

The EPI team has been off and running around California spreading the word about the EPI initiative, the new and improved CCCApply and the upcoming eTranscripts mini-grant opportunities. We may be in a community or at an event near you. Be sure to check the association websites for more information:

Requirements Gathering

Our workgroups are going strong and we are compiling many more requirements for the Education Planning Tool/Degree Audit System and the Systemwide Student Services Portal. We are thrilled that the individuals on our workgroups have provided the needed energy and dedication to assist us with this task. As the workgroups continue to gather requirements, we will concurrently use the requirements to form RFP specifications and work with our software vendor Unicon Inc. on initial development of the portal.
