WCET is a cooperative network of member institutions and organizations that provides a leading source of critical thinking and expertise on the evolving role of technology in higher education. Its membership includes many of the top technology innovators from colleges, universities, non-profit organizations and companies around the country—and the world. In the realm of higher education, a cross-section of leaders, administrators and faculty add to the diversity that distinguishes the richness of the work of the WCET.

WCET invites you to share some of the innovative concepts, good practices, new research findings that are making a difference in how technology advances higher education. Submit a conference presentation proposal and plan to join higher education practitioners and leaders for WCET’s 22nd Annual Conference in La Jolla, California, on November 11-13, 2010.

The planning committee designs the conference to be a stimulating, forward-looking program that represents the multiple perspectives and diverse expertise of its attendees. Sessions are created that feature a number of speakers from varying backgrounds and institutions and include audience participation.

Travel freeze or budget constraints? In light of the current fiscal challenges facing institutions, WCET may select some presenters to participate remotely via web or video conferencing at a reduced registration cost. Do not let budget restrictions deter you from submitting a proposal.

Sessions that provide attendees with real world applications they can bring back to their institutions are encouraged!
