CCC TechEDge, the California Community Colleges system technology newsletter, has migrated to a new, entirely online format. The move continues a tradition of excellence begun in 2003 and is intended to more effectively reach the newsletter's audience.

TechEDge provides current information about statewide technology efforts and the people bringing cutting edge technology to the the California Community Colleges. Its audience includes distance educators, information systems officers, business leaders, the California State Legislature, and the entire CCC technology community.

From May of 2003 to June of 2009, the TechEDge newsletter was printed quarterly with additional, special issues per year. The new digital-only format will allow the newsletter to respond to and publish news in a more timely manner than traditional print publishing.

Web features have been included in the new format to encourage feedback and topic-specific discussion. Readers are also encouraged to participate in weekly academic technology polls. Readers are also able to subscribe to TechEDge eNews and receive announcements about new content.

A new Opinion section has been added, as well. The new section will capture the blog entries of experts in subjects relevant to the interests of our audience.

TechEDge is funded by a grant from the California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office and published by the California Community Colleges Technology Center at Butte College.

TechEDge welcomes relevant submissions and feedback and will gladly send you an announcement when the new online format is complete. Direct all correspondence to the This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. <>
