CCC IT Security & Accessibility Workshops, Jan. 9-10, 2017January is just around the corner, so register soon for the CCC Information Security and Electronic/IT Accessibility Workshops, being held Jan. 9-10, 2017, at Evergreen Valley College in San Jose, Calif.

The all-day, back-to-back workshops are geared specifically for IT and information professionals of the California Community Colleges, and are free to attend. The bi-annual event features a winter gathering in Northern California and a summer event in the southern part of the state. Travel Comp Offer

As a special offer from the CCC High Tech Center Training Unit (HTCTU), those who attend the Accessibility workshop on Jan. 10 will be eligible for up to $200 reimbursement for either hotel accommodations or mileage to the event. Visit the 2017 winter workshops event page for more information.

Workshop Information

The January workshops will follow a format similar to the summer IT workshops held in July. Jan. 9 will be an all-day workshop centered on information security, presented by the CCC Information Security Center, featuring Chief Information Security Officer Jeff Holden. Jan. 10 will be an all-day workshop centered on electronic and IT accessibility, presented by the CCC Accessibility Center. Speakers include Sean Keegan, Director of the Accessibility Center, and Gaier Dietrich, Director of the HTCTU.
