2017 Online Teaching ConferenceWould-be presenters have extra time to get proposals in for the Online Teaching Conference, taking place June 19-21, 2017, in Anaheim, Calif. Conference organizers have extended the call for proposals deadline to Jan. 31, 2017.

The annual Online Teaching Conference is a unique peer-to-peer gathering of faculty, staff and administrators from the California Community Colleges and other institutions, leading the way in developing innovative and effective online education. Conference participants will be challenged and engaged by in-depth examination of relevant topics related to effective practices, support and resources, technology innovation, and leadership and evaluation.

Speaker Guidelines

Proposals are being sought on topics including effective practices, support and resources, technology innovation, and leadership and evaluation. Following are some guidelines for prospective presenters:

  • Deadline for submissions is Jan. 31, 2017.
  • Notifications will be sent in February.
  • Each session is 50 minutes, generally 40 minutes of content with 10 minutes for Q&A.
